FAQ

Quick answers to commonly asked questions:

What’s the contact information for Caribbean Beach Resort?

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
900 Cayman Way
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

phone: (407) 934-3400
fax: (407) 934-3288

How much does it cost?

Disney has broken the year into “seasons” (Value, Regular, and peak holiday seasons) based on demand for rooms. The higher the season, the more your room will cost.

Caribbean Beach Resort is one of Disney’s moderate (mid-priced) resorts, and standard rooms during value season start at $149/night. The highest rate you’ll pay is $274/night for a pirate-theme, water-view room during peak Christmas holiday season.

Remember that water-view, pirate-themed, and preferred (i.e. closest to Old Port Royale) rooms will cost an extra $25 per night.

What are the closest buildings to Old Port Royale?

The buildings closest to OPR, in order, are:

  1. In Martinique (preferred) 26, 25, 24
  2. In Trinidad North (preferred) 31, 32, 33
  3. In Jamaica 45
  4. In Aruba 51

In Barbados and Trinidad South, all buildings are quite a trek from Old Port Royale.

Are there elevators at Caribbean Beach Resort?

No. If you have problems with steps we recommend requesting a first floor room.

What buildings are closest to bus stops?

Bus stops are located here:

  • Old Port Royale Centertown
  • Trinidad North: by building 33
  • Trinidad South: by building 36
  • Jamaica: by building 46
  • Aruba: by building 56
  • Custom House
  • Barbados: by building 13
  • Martinique: by building 23

What’s the first bus stop?

The “first stop” can be either Martinique OR Jamaica, depending on the bus. Usually, Barbados is the last drop off and Martinique is the first pick up, but the Jamaica-to-Trinidad loop is also in play once in a while. Your best bet is to call the resort ((407) 934-3400) and ask exactly what section you should request based on what the bus routes will be at the time you’re visiting.

How long does it take to get to each theme park via Disney Transport bus?

  • Hollywood Studios: 12 minutes
  • Epcot: 12 minutes
  • Downtown Disney: 12 minutes
  • Blizzard Beach/Winter Summerland Mini Golf: 13 minutes
  • Magic Kingdom: 15 minutes

What’s the Pirate Cruise?

Kids ages 4-12 can participate in this adventure cruise on Barefoot Bay. The boat departs the Barefoot Bay Marina on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays at 9:30am and returns at approximately 11:30am with lunch provided.

Yes! Would love to see you there. Our facebook fan page is: Facebook.com/CaribbeanBeachResort.

Are the Caribbean Beach Resort restaurants on the Dining Plan?

Shutters, the pizza delivery, and Market Street Food Court do accept dining plan credits. See this brochure for more information.

When does CBR run its promotions, offer Bounce-back codes, or offer pin codes?

Bounce-back offers are pretty standard across property. Pin Codes are completely variable, but I’ve never seen a pin code that works for only one property. These offers are all run by Walt Disney World Resorts corporate and they rarely single out individual resorts to offer discount
codes on. Usually, pin codes will refer to all resorts, or one specific category of resorts. The place I go to get all the news on Disney resort discounts is Mousesavers.com.

Does CBR fill up at certain times because of conventions or special groups coming a certain week?

All Disney resorts can be used at times to house groups. Caribbean Beach is NOT a convention resort, and so rarely gets filled up with conventions. Your best bet is to call the resort directly (see number above) and ask them if there are any groups scheduled during your potential stay.
